When a prospective buyer looks at a pre-owned car, what's the first thing that shopper should look for?
*A clean CARFAX report is a great indicator, certainly.
*And a choosing a reputable dealership with on-site management that stands behind every car it sells is absolutely important.
*But, knowing a car was a 1-Owner Car means that the car was purchased brand new.
It means the previous owner made the choice to pay top dollar for their transportation and because of this investment has most likely had all maintenance done on time...any repairs performed promptly and probably done by factory-trained technicians. And it usually means that you're on the verge of buying the previous owner's 'baby', not someone's 'problem child'.
At BMW of Austin 89% of our pre-owned inventory are 1-Owner Cars.
We're so proud of this fact that you can see it displayed prominently on each vehicle's description page.
In spite of most of our inventory being low-mileage 1-Owner BMW's, we still inspect all of our cars to conform to a rigid set of standards. We then recondition them to 'like-new' condition with factory parts installed by highly trained technicians who are picky...just like you.
It may surprise you to know that the CARFAX website goes as far as to tell you that you should actually pay more for a 1-Owner car, simply because these cars are worth more. (We agree that 1-Owner cars are worth more, we just don't see any reason to price them like they are!)
So if you see a car on our website that catches your eye, more often than not, it is a gently used 1-Owner BMW. So save your worrying for something important.
Like which color you want.
Call or email one of our Internet Sales Managers at 855-222-4222. Just tell one of them what you are looking for...they probably has a nice 1-Owner BMW that would be perfect for you!
